PORT HARCOURT— Rivers State Government and the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, have called for collaboration among stakeholders to grow the agricultural sector in the country.Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Mrs Ibim Semenitari, said stakeholdersshould take steps to redress the impact of climate change on the country.Speaking at this year’s World Food Day celebration with thetheme, Climate is changing, food and agriculture must too, Semenitari, who was represented by the NDDC Deputy Director in Agriculture and Fisheries, Mrs. Daisy Amadi-Oviawe, said that pragmatic steps should be taken to sustain developmentin the agric sector.Deputy governor of Rivers State, Mrs Ipalibo Banigo, at the event said that the government would partner investors to grow agricultural sector.
